Also kinda cool that some games actually use those gimmicks (like Zelda). I hadn't realized it at first, but the GC has quite a few more gimmicky gadgets to go with the (the widget that lets you play GBA games, the gadget cable that lets you use your GBA as a controller/auxiliary display, etc). It came with Zelda: The Wind Waker (which has been fun). Plus, it's got Pokemon (does the new Pokemon XD have 2P coop features?).Īnyway, I bit the bullet last night and picked up a GameCube box set.
For about the last year I'd been waffling between picking up an Xbox and a Gamecube - the former because it's got stuff I wanted to play, and the latter because it's FAR more likely to have stuff I'd let my kids play (my son is almost 6).
